How do I book a photoshoot?
To book a photoshoot, go to the "Book a Photoshoot" tab on this website, then fill out the form. The information will then be sent to my email, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Please keep in mind this is a photoshoot request, not a guaranteed time and day. If your request is granted, you will be asked to make a non refundable deposit of $50 in advance and sign a contract to confirm your photo session. Once payment is received you will receive a confirmation email.

Am I able to customize a photo package plan?
Yes, we offer customizable packages to fit every budget. If you would like to customize your package plan, please include the plan you are looking for in the "Book a Photoshoot" form. Please keep in mind that customizable packages are a request, not a guaranteed right. We will do our best to meet your needs.

What is our turnaround time?
After the session, please allow 1-3 weeks for photos to be processed. However, can be closer to three weeks for larger amounts of photos. Processing time begins the first business day from session.

Props/Outfit changes/What should I wear?
We recommend wearing semi formal attire for portraits and professional headshots. Outfit changes are on client responsibility. If your package plan includes an outfit change, we would suggest a location with a public restroom. Keep in mind outfit changes are included in the time slot granted, so come prepared with a plan on how to quickly change into an outfit. Props are an optional choice to bring, you are responsible to bring any props you would like to bring to your photoshoot. The price of the photo session is the same regardless of using props or not.

Fees
There are only fees for optional add ons such as specific federal holidays, travel fees, and photo processing rush.
Travel fees: For sessions in Hawaii, there will be a $40 fee will be applied for all North Shore and Wai‘anae/Ewa Beach locations. I do not currently travel off island.
For sessions in NYC, there will be a $40 fee for sessions outside of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Outside locations must be within a 10 mile radius from Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Photo processing rush fee for photos in 7 business days or less is $25 to $35

Accomodations
Accommodations such as a particular editing style, print photos, unedited photos, and specific photoshop such as altering the face or body will not be made. For portraits, we do our best to photoshop people in the background out, BUT we cannot always, we will let you know if we cannot! Inability to photoshop people out of a photo does not equal any kind of refund.

When is the best time to take photos?
We are pretty flexible with any time, but for the best quality photos, we highly recommend times right before sunset. Typically 5-7PM between March and November when the days are longer, then around 3-5PM when the clock moves backwards for daylight savings in the winter. Sunrise and sunset sessions are subject to a $20 fee due to it being outside of our hours.

Group sessions
Please keep in mind that group sessions will focus on poses as a group rather than individual shots sharing the same time slot. Group sessions are not guaranteed individual shots. Please visit our portraits page under the investment tab to learn more about a more personalized photo experience. We will do our best to include a few individual shots of each group member, but it is not guaranteed. Please note, processing time for group sessions can take an extra week than normal; possibly up to two extra weeks for large groups.
